I don't know whether you saw the link to various videos here.

There's an interesting section involving the use of stone in Monkey tool usage Hammer and Anvil, at about 3:50.

However, I couldn't find any evidence of the monkeys actually modifying a piece of stone for a particular purpose. They seemed solely interested in using the stones to get at the contents of nuts.
