<HTML>What reference are you using for the dimensions of the sawing errors on Khufu's sarcophagus? I guess if they had slats stabilizing the blade or used to protect the edges of the cut from chipping and fracturing then it is quite possible they were unaware of the mistake until they took them off. These types of errors may not have been common and were not checked for with great regularity during a days work since it would require stopping to take apart the slats to examine the cut.
