<HTML>Thanks Garrett,
There were only 4 tablets [photos] studied at U of Fla, Miami in 1980, they were the "Chief Merchant's" list of friendly trading cities. I have no idea where the remaining few went. Also don't know if any other info was ever released by the Syrian Gov. The word then was that less than 400 tablets had been photographed prior to "The West" being tossed out. The total count was said to be 35,000 tablets. The Syrians claimed only 17,000. Zecharia Sitchin was said to be the last Westerner to be expelled. I do not know the facts. I do know it is very dificult to find any reference to those tablets, or info there of, released after 1981. The man in charge of the West Team was Dr Petinato [spell?], of Italy.
It would be interesting to know the whole story from a team of Linguists.
Regards,,, Deano</HTML>
