This is getting a bit confusing. This is looking down the shaft to Djoser's burial chamber which was sealed with an extraordinary stone "stopper". I could see little detail though as my torch had the same problem as my flash and the gloom just seemed to swallow the light.



All the photos with the wooden pieces are ;ooling up above my head towards the poised rubble ceiling.
