Hi all seems I made a rather stoooooopid error. I multiplied 0.08 x 360 instead of by 60 so instead of 28.8 minutes it has only moved 4.8 minutes and lo and behold the deflection from 90 according to Petrie is 5 minutes. Seems I have inadvertently proven the orthodox date of around 2500 BCE. The actiual date all things being equal could be:

4.8 = 4500

1 = 4500 / 4.8

1 = 937.5

5 minutes = 5 x 937.5

5 mintes = 4687.5

Translates to 4687.5 - 2007 = 2687.5 BCE

Still pretty close.
