On a previous link on Mexico an image appears probably taken in a museum and hung by one would think a curator or graduate student. First I will post the image the way it appears in the museum ...



Now looking at this image a skull appears to be obvious in the bottom right and it looks right side up. But I saw something else in this image and as I am apt to do I tried looking at it from a different angle. Here is what I saw ...



I wonder which way is the correct way to view this piece of art.

Kat you know a lot about this area. Is this common in their art ?
