I can only speak for myself, but my opinion is that PS-BS is actually dangerous. Not in the sense that an RPG in the hands of a lunatic is dangerous, but because a lot of it is the sort of crap that stunts societal growth by dragging us back towards superstition and unreason and away from the development of clear rational consciousness. You may, of course, disagree on this.

Again, speaking for myself, I often find 'logic' in PS-BS with which I feel uneasy – I find it useful to have a reference for logical flaws in order to help resolve this unease. YMMV.

I disagree. Clear statements of why logic is flawed will eventually spread beyond the 'informed community' – in fact, I believe that it is essential that it does so for reasons stated above.
