<HTML>An acquantance from work just went to the Florida keys last week. As a favor, I asked him IF he has nothing to do, to go check out Coral Castle AND look for "fingerprints" on the stones.

Well, he took a ton of pics (but doesn't have them developed yet). He DID say that there are like 3 "fingers" scraped on the exact same spot on each stone (this was the "fence" surround, I believe). The implication is these were made for whatever lifting device was used.
