I agree with you wholeheartedly about Tut's tomb. You have to shift your viewpoint on it over and over and over again to really understand it. For isnstance it was clearly an Osirian burial with Ay performing the opening of the mouth ceremony. But there were clearly atenist elements still left in it. After all goddesses guarding his stone sarcophagus were almost a carbon copy of Akh's sarcophagus.



I'm not much of a linguist I've dabbled in Heiroglyphs so I know that Budge is universally reviled for refusing to accept Sethe's works.

On a finer note, remember when that African tribe supposedly knew about Sirius having a neighbor and therefore they were in possession of knowledge that wen back 5k years etc. Will I went to Budge knowing that he wouldn't let this little tidbit slip through his fingers and found some of the aftrican tribes worshipped Sirius but there was no mention of a companion or knowledge that went back 5k years etc.

As far as Budge's hyperactive publishing, will I'd rather have too much information that is confusing, conflicting, and wrong than too little information that is neat, concise and right.
