Hymn to Aten and other amarna poems etc. He also made the unbelievable assertion (Fore me when I was a Childe Amarnaholic and had no idea that I was already suffering from a terrible and debilitating syndrome and that there was no hope for recovery.), that Tut's tomb was historically WORTHLESS. But he was right, there was no history no list of accomplishments, no papyrus nothing. For the art historian it was priceless for the historian of politics/imperial relations/intriques/ancient administration etc. it was worthless. Budge was right. In addition to that we have to consider the fact, that as good historians, we have to consider ALL documents from any time period, and in this case Budge, like it or not, and most Egyptologists universally hate it with every fiber of their being, is to deny that Budge was one of the giants of 20th century egyptology and so they would deny future historians of the history of Egyptology a major hunk of 19 and 20th century Egyptology.

Now for having disturbed Budge's Ka you shall make restitution and restore "ma'at" by making a "voice offering" to him by reading the Papyrus of Ani (substituting "Budge" for "ani" where appropriate) aloud from cover to cover.
