And a lot of the parts were made of wood, so I'm sure he burned them to cook in his barbecue pit after he was done. For example, his "weapon of choice" is 90% wood. You can bet that was broken up when he didn't need it any more.

Cast iron, however, does not burn so well. Hence, those pieces are still hanging in the shop today... exactly as he left them,and completely open to inspection.
