Do I understand it correctly that their beliefs also call for an end to the world as we know it? Not in the context of the Final Judgement, but in the context of their prophecies meaning that some areas will be spared and some will not... and because of this they store 6 months supply of food and necessities, have a religious community based disaster plan (rather than government based), and expect whatever is supposed to happen will happen relatively soon? I actually had assumed their archeological efforts were for the purpose of proving "authenticity" to their own prophecies soas to help them better prepare for whatever that "global catastrophe" would be. I only mention this because it puts more of a "save people" flavor on it... rather than the usual "prove our religion is the right one" type of outlook on such pursuits. More than happy to accept any and all comments (you too Katherine). Thanks.
