These photos are absolutely genuine. Let's put any conspiracy notions to bed right now. Nobody is gonna claim that they are fakes, or forgeries or "recently created".
There's no need, as photos like these have been around and on the website for decades. Period.
The important factor, that everybody misses, is that this equipment is NOT capable of raising the stones.
If the pictures showed fishing line instead of chain, would you still claim, "Mystery SOLVED!"? How about kitestring? How about nylon rope?
I think not.
But that would be a good analogy. These block and tackle do not give Ed magical powers to raise 50,000 pounds of stone with his bare hands. That is absurd. If it were that easy, then why would we wonder so long and so hard about the 200 ton stones of the sphinx temple? It would only take seven men, and they could put them whererever they wanted them.
Why do people persist in arguing that a 100 pound man could exert enough force to lift 25 mid-size family sedans? That is what we are discussing her, people. He didn't have enough "lead in his ass" (as my stepfather used to say) to lift the damn engine of ONE! Let alone all 25! The block and tackle don't give magical strength! This is not an "Underdog Super Energy Pill"... it's a chain and pulley.
The poles and chains, however, will hold the stones when they have been rested ONTO them, after having been raised to a higher elevation.
These photos aren't eveidence AGAINST the mystery... they are proof in FAVOR of it.
And THAT is why they have been published (again and again, and now). Nothing new here, folks. Those of you who are ignoring the basic mechanical physics are deluding yourself into thinking it's bunk... just because it's more convenient. It's just like the ramps for building the pyramids. They DON'T WORK! There's no evidence to support they were ever BUILT! Zahi Hawass has debunked them himself...
Yet people still claim that's how it was done.
See what I mean?
'Thanks for your patience in reading this frustrated rambling.
