In the interests of open minded speculation I wonder what other pictures may be hiding out there. One of Ed at the controls of a bulldozer perhaps, or a posed shot of a squad of itinerant navvies, shirts stained with the sweat of their labours?
This seems like an opportune time to ask just why it is that the word of Ed Leedskalnin should be taken as gospel. After all, the photographs (I'm just waiting for some contorted dismisal of them as fakes) would tend to suggest that some caution should be applied when it comes to evaluating what Ed had to say.
