Did you see my quote from JP Lepre regarding this sarcophagus? The lid was not made in a conventional fashion (it didn't slid across the top to close the sarcophagus), instead it moved from a vertical to a horizontal position. It was natural that the sarcophagus would be found closed as a consequence. As the pyramid was never completed we do not know whether that particular pharaoh was buried there or not. This pyramid can't be used as an argument against the tombs theory.
