Not really. He has a soft, pleasant voice that he uses on rare occasions, such as seeing Dan wake up. To Tarquin that means Dan will feed him, if he is insistent enough. He is very playful, though not quite as much as when he was younger. Plastic bottle caps are his favorite; he uses them to play hockey all night. Some of these get buried in his crunchies dish. Glasses, pens, little pliers, are a

Some of my first words were from Richard III. My sister loved Shakespeare, so I was quickly taught "My kingdom for a horse!" and "Now is the winter of our discontent".
I will never know why the two of us weren't drowned or left by the roadside.

He's a blue-point applehead Siamese. We're looking for a kitten to join him as he's at least 16. He was young when we rescued him, but not a kitten. He loves playing with the Poodles as long as they're not too rough.

Can you prove they weren'taliens? Hmmm? Well, can you, bunkie?
And considering the Lovecraftian angels, like the wheel of eyes and so on, you'd be hard-pressed not to call them aliens. What's the first thing angels say to people? That's right--"Fear not".
I'm sorry they never offered Angelology at uni.

Yes, AY had a tomb away from Amarna.
Horemheb helped himself to the works of AY, as one would expect.

People like to feel like they're in control. Meanwhile, scientific reports that contradict each other flood the airways and net. So people turn to someone they trust, someone who seems to understand them, and listen to what they say, no matter how irrational.

In France if you were lucky enough to have the King as your godfather, you were named after him. He showered you and your family with gifts.
More recently, my sister/godmother was allowed to give me my middle name. She was into Poe and Shakespeare at the time.

Tarquin knows his name. He comes when called, at least half the time, providing he is awake and wants to be loved up. He has Dan trained to open his food on a tight schedule. Tarquin has not, however, tried to train me. I'm not very domesticated.
He just jumped up here. Must have known I was thinking about him.

I think that the fact that canid remains are found in very, very ancient sites (think Neanderthal, Heidelburgensis, possibly Denisovans, etc) means that we have been taming individualcanines for a very long time. Only more recently did we start deliberately breeding them. The fox experiment in Russia shows just how quickly a wild animal can become fully domesticated.
Canines have been with us

That so many artifacts found in Tut's tomb belong to others opens two possibilities.
One, he died unexpectedly and other tombs from the family were raided to make his burial complete
Two, the artifacts belonging to others came from robbed or destroyed family members' tombs and were gathered in Tut's for safety/familial reasons.
As for the theory, a sample of 1 being used t

Telling someone they are not in pain is BS. You cannot possibly know how I am feeling. But because some dr says I should be able to suck it up, I have to have blood and urine tests every few months to prove to the DEA that I'm not selling my pills.

I have to see a specialist because of the opioid panic. It seems I'm incapable of deciding that I'd rather not spend my time in agony, because I shouldn't be hurting. Well, I am hurting, and fortunately the pain Dr is able to get me the meds I need. I'd say I wouldn't wish horrendous chronic pain on anyone, but the idiots who think I should just suck it up because it'

Raccoons and ravens routinely get into the trash here. Coyotes still sing. They've learned the traffic patterns and follow the lights. Barn owls have moved in to one of the neighbors' trees; they were hooting loudly the other night.
