Not really. He has a soft, pleasant voice that he uses on rare occasions, such as seeing Dan wake up. To Tarquin that means Dan will feed him, if he is insistent enough. He is very playful, though not quite as much as when he was younger. Plastic bottle caps are his favorite; he uses them to play hockey all night. Some of these get buried in his crunchies dish. Glasses, pens, little pliers, are all targets for theft, which he takes somewhere to kill. Lost a couple pair of glasses that way, along with dozens of pens and tools. Usually we find them on the cat tree, but sometimes he leaves them on the floor. We sometimes find his treasures by accidentally stepping on them, which is not good for glasses.
