1) The ancients actually describe the Cubit as measuring the distance from the elbow to the fingertips... there were 7 palms, or 28 digits in a cubit.
2) The AE symbol for Cubit is a raised arm showing elbow to fingertips...
3) Every recovered cubit rod they do have is slightly different from all the others.. (I had done a full study, iirc shortest 21" longest 25"?)

imho Allowing the ancients to speak for themselves, this is explained simplest by accepting the royal cubit changed for each Pharaoh, based on what his "divine" measurements were...

That simple statement is passionately hated by all the math-magicians who really want; & want very, VERY badly, for all the careful measurements & ratios (base, height, Pi, lunar distance, Mars rotation year, etc etc, ad nausea) to actually encode some mysterious truth.

To the point they would prefer to believe one or both of these;
1) the records were falsified to protect the "secret"... probably by the Knights Templar, in communication with aliens from the planet "Areyoufeckingserious?"

2) The once God-like Divine Cubit of the Old Kingdom degenerated into different lengths because the AE couldn't remember how long it was supposed to be.

Without a cubit rod from Khufu's builder, how can all these measurements possibly mean anything more than what it measures in our increments?
