The slope of both the east and west walls of the Queen's Chambers was described by Petrie as very close to 14 arc minutes.
(From Petrie's measurements I calculated 15 arc minutes and 13 arc minutes.)

I proposed that the walls form a virtual triangle symbolic of 1,460 years at the Second British Egyptology Conference in 2008.

MJ Thomas 2 pointed out that both the north and south wall lean northward at a similar slope on this forum.

It now appears that a three dimensional virtual image leans due north at an intended angle close to 14 arc minutes.

Alpha Draconis was at its closest to the pole of the night sky in 2799 BC. It turns out that the diameter of the circle marked by the daily cycle of Alpha Draconis was 14 arc minutes.

Perhaps the proximity of Alpha Draconis to the pole inspired the construction of huge pyramids aligned to true north.
