But you fell into the same trap as many do! You attempt to explain a GP base being less then 440 cubits when there is no real reason to do so.

9068.8 inches divided by 440 = 20.610909 inches per cubit.

20.610909 inches times 280 cubits = 5771.0545 inches! Petrie has GP height between 5769 and 5783 inches so 5771 is in the range.

I didn’t see your inch value listed but I’m guessing it is 20.62 inches per cubit. Problem is we don’t exactly what the length of the cubit was and even if we did measuring errors could be involved. You even point out the differences between base lengths, how can you explain this unless some error crept into their measuring?

Strange you would pick a rounded height of 280 cubits when the top of the GP is missing and not measurable over the base length that can be reasonably ascertained.

Myself I like the 22/7 I mean 88/28 explains the cubit, palms, digits and circles so well. smiling smiley
