And taking this same problem we get this amazing solution with a hint of Pi knowledge thrown in for good measure.

Here is the diagram again with all measurements calculated.



Total perimeter distance for our geometric figure is:

07.0898
03.7521
05.0000
06.0000
05.0000
03.7521
07.0898

37.68382
-------

Given a circle with circumference of 37.68382 units we get as our radius, I guess not surprisingly, 5.9975 or 6 units (base of our geometric figure) to within 2.5/1000ths)

This is a most interesting geometric figure they have given us !
