Some basic facts:

According to Petrie we have the following.

G1 = Height - 280 cubits
G2 = Base L - 440 cubits

G2 = height = 275 cubits
G2 = Base L = 411.04 cubits

G3 = Height = 125 cubits
G3 Base L - 201.45
====================
Total = 1732.49 cubits

Petrie has the North-south distance at The Giza Plateau measure from the north side of G1 to the south side of G3 and measured directly due south of 1732.50 cubits. This checks to 1/100 of a cubit So I think it is safe to suggest that the two are related in some fashion and goes beyond being just a fluke.
====================

Base totals = 1052.49 cubits

Height totals = 680 cubits

280 + 275 = 555 and is sq rt of 1.5 of the total 680/555 = 1.224745

125 + 275 = 400 and is the ratio of 1 to 1.7 (400 to 680)

411.04 + 201.45 = 612.49 = The ratio appears to be 1 to sq rt of 8 or 1732.5 / 612.49 = 2.828427

440 + 201.45 = 641.45 = The ratio appears to be 1 to 2.7 (1732.5 / 641.45)

Base totals = 1052.49 cubits

Orbital period on Mars = 686.98 Earth days
Orbital period on Earth = 365.256363004 days
==========================================
Total = 1052.236 days
======================

Petrie has East-West distance at Giza from west side of G3 to east side of G1 measured directly due east as 1417.35

2 Earth years + 1 Mar's year (in Earth days) = 365.256 x 2 + 686.98 = 1417.49

Ratio of Mars Year to Earth year = 1.88082

.

And here are the three satellite pyramids of Menkaure

As Clive pointed out we have 2 step and 1 smooth pyramid signifying that the smooth is Mars and The Step is Earth. A theme that may be repeated elsewhere at Giza. And I think it is more than just a co-incidence that on the east - west line we have two step and 1 smooth or 365.256 + 365.256 + 686.98 = 1417.49 matching the east - west distance almost exactly in cubits while over on the east side of G1 we have 2 smooth and 1 step or 686.98 + 686.98 + 365.256 = 1739.22 matching the distance north - south when one takes into consideration the deviation of true east of Menkaure's pyramid.

The pyramid of Nefrerirkare:

Height c.72m
Base 105m
Volume 257,250 cu. m
Slope 53° 7' 48"
Dynasty 5
Satellite Pyramids (0)
Queens Pyramids (0) Source - [egyptphoto.ncf.ca]

Base is 200.5 cubits while the height is 137.5 cubits or 1/2 height of G2

Slope angle of 53° 7' 48" is incorrect for the measurements listed. I suggest pyramid was actually 137.5 cubits high and 206.25 at the base giving us yet another 3, 4 and 5 triangle pyramid.

or ....

we have 200.5 by 133.66 (and haven't we just seen this as a ratio somewhere) which would give us a slope angle of about 53°7'48 and exactly the angle they claim but they did not bother to figure out the correct dimensions for the pyramid. This gives us now exactly the 3, 4 and 5 ratio

From an upcoming website.

Don Barone
