A question that arises is why were the designers of Giza so interested in the perihelion of Ceres so as to depict is by way of the North-East corner of Menkaure’s pyramid. Well it seems that when Ceres is at it’s minimum distance from the Sun this is the time that we find now and then the minimum distance between the Earth and Ceres. This is the best time to observe Ceres with a telescope and also it is the best time for space missions.
Last year at February 25 , Ceres was at it’s closest distance and the last time it got this close was on Jan 30 1857 AD. Also it seems that then next time that it gets this close is on 4169 AD!
So what a coincidence. I decode Giza uncovering the sacred Ceres plan on the same year of it’s approach to the Earth. But let’s get back to Giza to see that when I posted distance Google Earth photos that define the base length of the outer pyramids – this does not mean that the ancients did not know exactly were every planet was. Thus below I map last years planetary approach using the exact distances between all planets. Just keep in mind that the scale is one to one trillion, and that I have aligned Ceres in the directions of Menkaure’s North-East corner. Everything else including off course the distance between Ceres and the Sun – which relates to how close it comes to the pyramid corner is computed using Petrie, Google Earth, NASA data and this utility:
