Hi Hermione ...
It depends on perspective.
We have often used the Ancient Egyptian expression ... As Above ... So Below as a sort of catch all phrase for Ancient Egypt.
It is my contention that there are universal laws of creation that all things follow whether they be in the Cosmos or here on Earth. It is this proof that I think is shown at Giza. They did not necessarily have to know for certain the things I suggest they knew but they could indeed know that all things follow certain patterns and laws and that our Solar System would follow those rules as well.
So whether by observation or deductive reasoning, there is no doubt in my mind that they knew these things. I still contend that within the myths of Ancient Egypt one can find the truth of it all.
But then we can never discount that they did know these things.
Since you can never prove a negative I will not stoop to asking you to prove they did not know it and I keep searching for clues that they did. Each day brings it just a tad clearer. Perhaps one day I will find the final key. And besides knowledge is always gained along the way and maybe that is the whole point of it all - to search for knowledge. Did you know that the red granite divided G3 in 4 and the base in 8 ?
And if I could a simple question. If we set the Earth to Mars distance as one (or 20.618034 parts or units) then the distance from The Earth to The Sun is 1.9094 or 39.37 parts or units. Don't you find that just a bit suspicious when we have a cubit to meter ratio of 20.618034 to 39.37 ?
Best regards
Don Barone
