Hi RLH ...
Here is another look at it. 3401 inches from the wall south to NW corner of G3 is from Petrie's notes:
Cheers and just a note here to let you know it was noticed ...
The distance of the wall immediately west of G3 is 681.394 using 20.618 inches per cubit. Here is what Petrie writes about this measurement:
... The total length of the W. wall of the peribolus, 14,049 from corner to corner (D to J), does not seem to have any simple relation to other parts and the only connection observed in it is that the distance of the S.W. corner (J) from the S. wall of the enclosure (F) is equal to the distance of the W. peribolus from the side of the Pyramid.
What was recognizable to me immediately in this measurement is this is EXACTLY (almost) the distance I have calculated from the south side of G3 to the center line of The Sphinx.
Petrie's Notes on Pyramid 3 Walls
And here is an interesting thought RLH which has just this second occurred to me. What if ... What if the distances of the bases of The Pyramids are meant to represent ...
ANGLES ! So we would now have 44.00 degrees (or maybe 43.988) for G1, we would have 41.104 for G2 and finally 20.142 degrees for G3 ... Hmmm I will have to see where this takes me ...
Cheers
