Is there anyone out there who can make sense of this:

Here are Petrie's co-ordinates and his measuring system:



Apparently you have to take his units and divide by 196.75. I have tried that but the measurements do not seem correct. Does anyone know for sure how to read this table.

His 0.00 North , 0.00 East point was apparently well North and to the east of the plateau itself so there would be no negatives.

From my understanding you would take the difference in distances from North (eg 5,393,798 - 3,987,140 and get 1,406,658 If we divide this by 196.75 we are supposed to get inches (9585.40). This does not seem to be accurate.
