Hi Clive and Don,

As I have mentioned previously, the length of the KC passage from the south wall of the grand gallery to the north wall of the KC is 365.25 digits, the same as the number of days in a year.

The floor of the passage from the KC to the south wall of the grand gallery has three granite blocks and one limestone block. This (second) limestone block begins at the south wall of the grand gallery and ends at the junction of the first granite block in the antechamber. The length of this limestone block is pi cubits (3.14159 cubits). The fist limestone block is the great step, which begins at the midline of the pyramid and ends at the southern wall of the grand gallery.

365.25 digits, divided by 28, equals 13.044642 cubits.

13.044642 cubits minus 3.14159 cubits equals 9.90305 cubits for the granite portion of the KC passage.

Given the phi ratio between the granite portion of the floor of the passage and the limestone portion of the floor (to the face of the great step), the total length of the passage from the KC to the face of the step is:

9.90305 x 1.6180339 = 16.02347 cubits.

The length of the first (northernmost) granite block in the KC passage is 2 cubits and 2 palms or 64 digits, the same as the height of the courses of the KC and the same as the perpendicular height of the inclined passages. The length of the third (southernmost) granite block in the KC passage is 3 cubits and 3 palms or 96 digits, or 1.5 times the length of the first granite block.

The total length of the granite portion of the passage is 9.90305 cubits, or 277.2854 digits (9.90305 x 28). 277.2854 minus 64 digits (first granite block) minus 96 digits (third granite block) leaves 117.2854 digits for the length of the middle (second) granite block. 117.2854 divided by 28 equals 4.18876 cubits for the length of the second granite block. 4.18876 times 3, divided by 4, equals 3.1416 cubtis, the same as the length of the second limestone block

The fisrt granite block is 2/3 the length of the third granite block and the second limestone block is 3/4 the length of the second granite block.

Jim
