Hello Rich,
I'd forgotten about the extra five days given over to feasting, etc.
However, the 4th Dyn Egyptians do not appear to have noticed or been bothered by the extra 1/4 day, which suggests to me that they did not incorporate the number of days in a year in the length of the diagonal of the base of Khafre's pyramid.
You will notice my climbdown from "irrefutable evidence" to "suggests".
