Hi Jon and thank you !

First set: 3 metres + 2.7 metres + 3 metres + 3 metres + 3.56 metres = 15.26 meters = 600.7862 inches (15.26 x 39.37) = 29.136 cubits (600.7862/20.62)

Second set: 3.01m + 2.71m + 2.89m + 2.7m + 3.95m = 15.26 meters

My suggestion: 2.928 + 2.928 + 2.928 + 2.928 + 2.928 = 14.64 = 576.3768 inches (14.64 x 39.37) = 27.95 cubits (576.3768/20.62)

HOWEVER ...

I think most researchers would agee that the height from the floor to the top of Campbell's Chamber is 40 cubits EXACTLY or at least was probably meant to be this distance. So where does this leave us ? Well we know The King's Chamber itself is 11.18 cubits .... so .... we have

First set = 29.14 + 11.18 = 40.32 This is .32 of a cubit too long.

Second set = The same - .32 of a cubit too long

My set = 27.95 + 11.18 = 39.13 This is .87 too short. If we look at my diagram it is obvious that the last .5 is not at the top of Campbell's chamber so if we make the adjustment and use a more appropriate number we could get -

My suggestion: 2.928 + 2.928 + 2.928 + 2.928 + 3.382 = 15.094 x 39.37 = 594.25078/20.62 = 28.82 and added to out known distance is 28.82 + 11.82 = 40 cubits (+ or -)

With all the other possibilities in this amazing building I do not think that the cross beams were placed without a purpose or a reason.

And how's this: 39.37 cubits (39.37 is the number of inches in a meter) = 811.8094 (39.37 x 20.62) inches = 20.62 meters (20.62 is of course the number of inches in a cubit) This yields the ratio 1 meter = 1.909 cubits

HOWEVER smiling smiley

440 (cubits in Great Pyramid base) / 1.909 (actually 1.9093113482056256062075654704171) = 230.45 which equals the number of inches in the height of The King's Chamber to a correction of .09 of an inch.

Wow the numbers always tell a very interesting story.

Best
