Hello all,

With the following coordinates for Cretan mountains(tallest peak):
Leuka Ore 35.292872° N , 24.031656° E
Ide 35.226982° N , 24.770820° E
Dikte 35.093770° N , 25.471176° E
Selena 35.227669° N , 25.511933° E

We can work out the distances and angles:

Giza G2 angle = 168.54° = 172.89° - 4.35°
Leuka Ore – Ide – Dikte angle = 173.58° = 172.89° - 0.69°
Leuka Ore – Ide – Selena = 173.3° = 172.89° - 0.41°

2600 BC Orion angle = 172.89°

(Ide to Dikte)/(Ide to Leuka Ore) distance = 0.9681 = 0.9785 - 0.0104
(Ide to Selena)/(Ide to Leuka Ore) distance = 0.9972 = 0.9785 + 0.0187
(Kafre to Khufu)/(Kafre to Menkaure) distance = 1.0725 = 0.9785 + 0.094

(Al Nitak to Al Nilam)/(Mintaka to Al Nilam) = 0.9785

Thus here I show that by rotating Orion belt stars we have a very good match with the three tallest mountains in Crete.
