Evidence of hieroglyphs this early, and that they bear no similarities with cuneiform whatsoever, rather mitigates against AE culture coming from Mesopotamia, only some borrowings of motivs, serpopards etc, and most certainly cannot indicate that the AE ruling class came from Mesopotamia, as some suggest.
