If I recall from many posts here back in 2006 the fragment your referring to once existed beside or near the original entrance, at the time J. Bodsworth posted photographs of it. It had one hole intact and one where the stone had been fractured. Most believed it was a fragment cleared by Petrie from the descending passage, others thought it belonged to rubble Col. Vyse had cleared from the shaft... which led people to speculate it could have been a fragment from the portcullis of the antechamber. it was no small task to bring it up and out of the pyramid.
