My understanding looking at the information on this study is that only mortar samples of the Bent pyramid were tested. I note in the Meidum pyramid samples were taken from its wooden beams. It would seem strange that the wooden beams in the Bent would also not be tested. Does anyone know if the wooden beams in the Bent have been carbon dated?
