I think it could be the result of a translation error like here: [www.egyptindependent.com]
The translator wrote "5,316 BCE" when it probably should be "5,317 BP", if it's an Early Dynastic site. And 3,300 BCE sounds much more realistic than an incredibly precise 5,316 BCE smiling smiley
