Fans of Humphries Brewer will be interested to see that he is mentioned in this (German) video (05:42) by Gorlitz and Erdmann (of damage to masons' marks in the Great Pyramid fame. Although the pair were accused of taking paint samples from the cartouche of Khufu itself, it appears that what they actually damaged was an example of Gardiner U23,a chisel-shaped hieroglyphic character a short distance away from the all-important cartouche.)
