Cladking,
I've been following your "debunk the ramps" postings on this site and on the GHMB for some time now, and I still can't figure out how your proposed counterweight system would work. Lately, you attempt to tie in vertical lines apparent on G1 with your counterweight theory (I'm assuming that this is your intention). Your explanations are unclear, and from the reactions of other people on this site to your posts, it is patently obvious that they can't see what you are getting at either.
May I offer a suggestion to you? Sketch out a series of diagrams showing how this mechanical system would function. If possible, depending of course upon your math level, you could show the mathematical details as to the friction, work, and stresses inherent is such a system. You could also propose the possible types of materials that would have been used by the AE in the construction of the various parts of the supporting structures (what material was used to make the pulleys, rope material and thickness, etc.).
The visuals don't necessarily have to be engineering-level CAD drawings, however basic visual details would go a long way towards clarifying your theory. I believe that Katherine Reece has already offered to help you with posting sketches on-line. Your theory is obviously clear to you, Cladking, but not to others. I for one would be very interested in seeing your diagrams.
