The intended meaning of the texts that have been translated are also interpretations. The general gist of a phrase can be accurate, or it may not be, depending upon the context that the translator used according to his or her level of expertise in the language. A knowledge of both word meanings, grammatical structure, and let's not forget nuances that are particular to any language, are paramount in order to obtain a smooth reproduction of one language into another.

Assuming that the PT translators did the best they could when confronted with such a difficult task, they were studying an ancient language that undoubtedly had changed over time. The concepts and explanations that are presented in these texts were contemporary to the original authors, and thus may have been somewhat removed from the era when the Khufu pyramid was being constructed. How much they may have changed, I really don't know. I am not an expert in the progression of the ancient Egyptian language, But one has only to compare the Latin language as written by Cicero or Ovid with texts in Medieval Latin to notice the many kinds of changes that can occur in just 1300 years or thereabouts.

And here I take you back to my original point about acquiring a good working knowledge of Egyptian in order to present your own interpretations of these texts. If this is too daunting a task, as I imagine it would be unless you are really dedicated and can afford to take the time, then at least get several opinions as to what particular phrases mean. If possible, discuss them with the translator, who may be able to provide you with additional information as to word meanings and concepts. I would also suggest that you publish your interpretations so that discussions can take place among people working in this area. You may be surprised by the results. Limiting your presentations to internet forums does not really advance your case very far.
