This came up on discussion with another forum, and I'm trying to look into it.

The only reference to it I can find outside of fringe websites states it's a late development in Egypt, from the Greek period.

I pulled up Wiki since usually the references help a lot, and was able to pullup the two books referenced in the article, but can't find Zep Tepi in them.

I know I'm missing something obvious, bit of help?
