I'm sorry to notice that your very question at the beginning of this thread reveals the fact that your knowledge of the EA culture and ideology is lacking severely.I do know that your knowledge of geometry (and maths in general) is very good indeed. However, the AEs had a very, as far as modern thinking is concerned, baffling way to look and understand things, and as long as you are not familiar with that thinking your knowledge of geometry serves you naught. Because let's face it: if you had studied the AE culture you'd know by now, that what we mean by geometry and geometrical designs is not how the AEs saw and understood it. They had an ideology in which "geometry" was included, not because of geometry itself, but because it was just one expression of the ideology itself.

I do think that this issue has been pointed out to you several times by now. And yet you insist on discarding the enormous learning opportunities in the form of actually reading a book or two about the subject. You seem to have taken on a habit of criticising anything and everything any Egyptologist has ever said. Why is that? Oh, I do admit that the Egyptologists do make mistakes, but did it ever occur to you, Don, that every now and again they might know something you don't, eh? Because they have actually studied the subject at hand and draw conclusions based on that knowledge. So before bluntly disagreeing with all the scholars, why not do some serious studying yourself. In other words, do our homework. Discussion and eventual disagreement based on knowledge is the only meaningful way to go. Otherwise you are just wasting everybody's time, your own included.
