Gardiner (Egyptian Grammar, section 266) mentions hekat measures such as the double hekat, the quadruple hekat, and the khar. I have reason to believe that there was also a measurement quantity in use during the Old and Middle Kingdom periods of 3 1/3rd hekats - that is, 1/3rd of a ten hekat measure.

I am wondering if anyone on this list has run into information that might shed light on this suspicion?
