Oh no, my children, the Amarna tarpits are a vast and breathtakingly complex place. Hani shows up repeatedly in the Amarna letters, he appears to be Wacky Akey's main axe-man (which disputes the Akhy was an indifferent monarch oblivious to what was going on in the levant.). Then after the death of Akhhenaten iirc. he disapears for awhile and then arrives in the Land of Hatti with a letter from an Egyptian princess who refuses to marry a commoner and asks for a son to marry....Sound familiar?....And you thought Amarna was just about succession and marfan's syndrome, and why Akhy had a distended belly and big feet and whether Nefertiti had an epicanthic fold.
