clive,
Petrie's mean average was 9068.8 where as Cole's was 9069.48; the latter matching the lengths given by Petrie for the north and south sides of G1.
Discovering relations is fun and sometimes dramatic, using interior measurements to determine the exterior measurements are equally interesting. However without a reasonable context that follows a sequential order to explain how and why (for what purpose) they chose such paths to creat the structure we outsiders are left with looking at what appears to be natural byproducts of a geometrical shape, some of which could be found in our own homes.
Why not say; 666^2 - 500^2 = 440^2 or that 1/3 G1 + 2/3 G2 + 2/3 of G3 = 555
With all respect, why should we believe either or you?
Best Regards,
