Jon, many thanks, your perserverence paid off in the end. It's amazing how much clearer most of the detail is in the original. I well remember the controversy over the figure next to the Bull's leg. Its just not possible to say for sure what it is supposed to be. To me it looks like a Beaver perched on top of a Sea-Lion, but really, it could be anything and shows that Robert Bauval was really going off on a tear by proclaiming it depicted a Lion.
