I would add at least the following correction to what I wrote way back when: the lithograph of the crew names in Lepsius seems to be based on Hill and Perring and not on any new drawing by the Lepsius expedition.

Correspondent Markus Pössel and I both noticed that the large picture of the Khufu cartouche in Lepsius is in some (minor but diagnostic) respects closer to Hill’s rendition than it is to photographs of the original; Markus checked the Lepsius archive and there is no record of the expedition doing its own drawings of same.

So the Lepsius lithograph arguably does not count as independent corroboration.
