I wassn't sure where I had seen this. As to Davis's methods, it's always seemed to me a cosmic joke of a rather tragic sort that Davis was involved in two of the most important finds in the VOK, KV 46 (Yuya and Tjuya), and -- far worse -- KV 55. If nothing else, it appears that the gold shrine of Tye might have been saved and really careful excavation might have clarified great deal and about "who?" "what?" and "why?"
