With any great historian, there is generally some subtle little thing that nobody picked up on that is just plain brilliant. Manetho, Herodotus, etc...
Note: they always get at least one thing wrong as well... nobody's perfect.
For chronology-lovers.... one example is here; it conforms with Herodotus 23 years per generation.
2121 / 96 = 22 years per generation for the Greeks.
