Hello Hans,
As you probably know, Khufu's supposed burial chamber (the King's Chamber) does not have an antechamber (what is popularly called 'the Antechamber' is actually a portcullis room that was never utilised because, puzzlingly, it wouldn't have worked).
It has been suggested that the King's Chamber was effectively split into two (East-West) with a screen of some description with the east section acting as the antechamber.
If memory serves, there is or was a mark (line?) of some description on the ceiling of the Chamber (about mid-length and running N-S) that hinted at a partition having once existed there.
Regards,
MJ
p.s. I've a vague recollection of a poster to these Forums suggesting that the Grand Gallery was or acted as the antechamber, but I think the idea highly improbable.
