* Anybody who insists that the pyramids' various features were designed to aim at stars.

* Anybody who thinks the pyramids at Giza mimick star groups.

* People who think a king's soul was launched to the stars through tiny shafts has an unfounded preoccupation with stellar cults at Giza.

* People who think the Egyptians broke with custom to build three pyramids in a group could only assert such a position if they felt the star cult at Giza overruled centuries of demonstrated tradition (both before and after).

* People who think the angle of the shafts, or the layout of the plateau, require a dating of the pyramid, or its design, outside of accepted chronology.



These are all signs that people have refused to look at the dominant gods and cults in operation at the time Giza was built, in favor of focusing on texts that have no supporting evidence of their existence for centuries after G1 was built.
