It would indeed make sense for Tut to choose a spot close to his mother's
burial for his own tomb but since the one he was buried in was meant not for
him but for Aye we should be looking near Aye's tomb, (begun for Tut) for
Kiya's burial - assuming she *was* Tut's mother at all! I think she was but
readily admit that is an opinion not a settled fact.

It seems to me obvious that this was a cache plain and simple and if it were
ever meant as a tomb it was never used as such. The real question is whose coffins
are these, what happened to the mummies in them and why were they packed with
funerary odds and ends?
