Was Ptah the greatest god of Egypt? Or was he a "lame-god" and a dwarf?

I'm looking for some original texts or expert opinions or artwork. I'm trying to build some collaboration, so I've added no information to this topic, yet.

I figure creating these topics before the weekend is probably a good idea. With this god-of-the-week topic... I will alternate, one week will be a god, and one will be a goddess.
